What is TrustExplorer: Real-Time Reserves?

TrustExplorer: Real-Time Reserves is the world’s first application that provides transparency into reserves data in real-time.

TrustExplorer: Real-Time Reserves enables entities such as issuers of stablecoins, asset-backed tokens, and crypto-backed financial products to provide trust and transparency to their clients by providing real-time data related to the liabilities issued, and assets used to collateralize or reserve those liabilities.

What types of products does TrustExplorer support?

TrustExplorer’s architecture enables the system to support many different types of products, and the assets held in reserve. For instance, TrustExplorer: Real-Time Reserves supports:

Stablecoins:
- Liability Issued: Tokens pegged to a unit of fiat currency (typically $1)
- Assets held as Collateral: Fiat in a bank account or crypto held in a “vault”
Asset-backed Tokens:
- Liability Issued: Tokens pegged to an external commodity (i.e. gold)
- Assets held as Collateral: Gold bars held in a vault
Digital Asset Exchange Traded Products (ETPs):
- Liability Issued: Security Instrument tradable on a Stock Exchange
- Assets held as Collateral: Digital assets held in custody on behalf of ETP holders

No matter the type of product, TrustExplorer: Real-Time Reserves can provide independent data related to both the Liabilities Issued and Assets held as Collateral in real-time, giving users the highest degree of transparency possible.

How does TrustExplorer work?

To compile and provide real-time data, TrustExplorer: Real-Time Reservesintegrates with many different data sources. The data sources for eachTrustExplorer: Real-Time Reserves client dashboard depends on the nature of the supported instrument (for instance, a fiat-backed stablecoin will have different data sources than the data sources of a crypto-backed ETP). TrustExplorer’s infrastructure includes, but is not limited to, the following integration types:

Blockchain Nodes: Armanino hosts blockchain nodes to independently query address balance and transactional data. Armanino hosts Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, Avalanche, and many more nodes to support the TrustExplorer product suite.
Bank & Escrow Partners: TrustExplorer utilizes API keys granted by banking and escrow partners to pull real-time data, typically related to the fiat-backing of stablecoins.
Exchanges and Custodians: TrustExplorer utilizes API keys granted by exchanges and custodians to pull real-time data collateralizing a variety of instruments.
Pricing Feeds: TrustExplorer integrates pricing and Fx rates as applicable into the TrustExplorer system.

Each of these data sources is queried at a specific interval (as frequently as every 30 seconds), to provide the most current data possible for eachTrustExplorer: Real-Time Reserves client dashboard.

Why is reporting no longer live?

Real-time reporting is returning soon. TrustExplorer has temporarily deactivated real-time assurance reporting as the software moves to a new entity. A new CPA firm dedicated to serving the digital assets industry will sign off on the real-time assurance reports later in Q1 2023. We welcome all other firms around the world to contact us if they are interested in leveraging the TrustExplorer technology to issue their own attest reports.

What type of reporting will be available in the future?

TrustExplorer: Real-Time Reserves will automatically generate two different types of independent attest reports, in accordance with the standards as promulgated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA):

AT-C 205: Examination Reports
AT-C 215: Agreed-Upon Procedures Engagements
